GTM Engineering
GTM engineering: a content and SEO engine that keeps running without another hire
I build the GTM Engine: a search-seeded content pipeline with an SEO and GEO loop and social distribution, built on Verqos, the same engine that runs my own sites.
What GTM engineering is
Go-to-market work, built as a system rather than a to-do list
GTM engineering means building the machinery behind how you get found and win customers: what gets written, where it goes, how you measure it and what happens next. A GTM engineer builds pipelines. A marketer on a deadline writes the next post.
Most small teams know what they should publish. The trouble is that it depends on one person finding the time every week, so the calendar slips as soon as that person gets busy.
The GTM Engine keeps the plan, the drafting, the checking and the publishing running on a schedule, and leaves you the decisions.

What the GTM Engine does
Four jobs, running every week
Plan from search
Topics come from real search data and from the questions AI answer engines get asked, not from a brainstorm. Each topic maps to a page you want to rank.
Draft and check
An agent drafts each piece to your house rules: direct answer first, question-style headings, an FAQ, and no invented figures. A checker enforces the rules before a person sees it.
Publish and distribute
Approved posts publish to your site with images, schema and internal links, and turn into social posts for the week.
Measure and loop
A weekly SEO review finds pages close to ranking and gaps where competitors get cited and you don't, and feeds them back into the plan.
Engine or agency
What changes if you build the engine instead of buying posts
| A content agency | The GTM Engine | |
|---|---|---|
| Where topics come from | A monthly planning call | Search data and AI-answer gaps, every week |
| Who holds the know-how | The agency | You: the rules, prompts and plan are written down in your accounts |
| Quality checks | An editor's judgement | Written rules checked on every draft, plus your approval |
| What happens if you stop | The posts stop | The engine is yours to keep running |
| Cost | Per post or per month | Setup plus a monthly fee: from £3,000 setup + £750/month ($4,000 + $1,000/month) |

How it runs
Five steps from teardown to a running engine
- 01
Teardown.
I review your current content and SEO engine and send you a 5-minute Loom.
- 02
Plan.
We agree the pages that matter, the questions to own and your house rules.
- 03
Build.
I set up the engine on Verqos and connect it to your site.
- 04
Run.
It plans, drafts, checks and publishes each week; you approve what goes out.
- 05
Review.
Each month I review the numbers with you and adjust the plan.
What you get
The GTM Engine, set up and running
- A search-seeded content plan tied to the pages you want to rank
- Your house rules written down: voice, banned claims, what always goes to a person
- Drafts that follow them, checked before you see them, with an approval queue for anything legal, pricing or competitive
- Publishing and social distribution to your site and channels
- A weekly SEO and GEO loop that decides what to write or update next
- A monthly review with me: what published, what moved and what broke
Setup, then monthly: from £3,000 setup + £750/month ($4,000 + $1,000/month).

Proof from my own production lines
The engine behind my own sites
The GTM Engine isn't a new product I'm testing on you. It's the pipeline that plans, drafts and publishes for my own travel platforms, and the weekly SEO review that tells me what to write next.
Campercation
A campervan travel platform I own and run
The blog runs on a search-seeded pipeline: topics come from search data, drafts are generated and GEO-structured, images go to a CDN and posts publish through a .NET API. A weekly SEO loop decides what to write or update next.

FAQ
What is GTM engineering?
GTM (go-to-market) engineering is building the systems behind how a business gets found and wins customers: content pipelines, SEO, distribution and outbound, run as automated workflows rather than one-off campaigns. The aim is output that keeps going without adding headcount.
What does a GTM engineer do?
A GTM engineer builds and maintains the pipelines marketing and sales run on: where topics and leads come from, how content gets drafted, checked and published, and how results feed back into the plan. It's part marketer, part engineer.
Do I need a GTM engineer or a content agency?
If you want posts, an agency will write them. If you want a system that keeps planning, drafting and publishing, with the know-how written down in your own accounts, you need it engineered. The teardown will tell you which you need.
Can AI-written content rank on Google?
Yes, if it answers the question people are searching better than what's already there, and it's checked for accuracy before it publishes. Generic AI text doesn't rank for long. The engine is built around real search questions, your own figures and a person approving every post.
What is GEO (generative engine optimisation)?
It's structuring content so AI answer engines such as ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google's AI answers can find, understand and cite it: a direct answer first, clear question headings, an FAQ and real sources. The GTM Engine writes every post this way.
What's included in the free GTM teardown?
A 5-minute Loom video reviewing your content and SEO engine: what you publish, what search is asking that you don't answer, and the first three things I'd fix. You send your website and work email; there's no call.
